Knoxville based artist creating intimate landscape paintings.
I strive to create paintings that are first and foremost portraits of natural beauty. I want them to evoke stillness and intimacy, the feeling of being in a special place in nature, at a moment when the sunlight seems to make the whole scene magical. Seen from a distance the paintings look photorealistic, but up close they are an abstract fusion of color splotches and texture.
